It is Happenning Again

The state of the painting.  Consumed by order.  I keep gravitating towards this grid pattern; laying it over any part of the painting overtly figurative, narrative or representational, which amounted to the whole 7'x6' painting.  It may have something to do with affording the painting some an anonymity; letting the painting hide its message behind bricks, tiles, grout like design.

Look How Much I have Changed

This is the current state of the painting I thought to be finished in my last "Ert...." post.
I have been hammering away at it as I wait for some nice weather to make a new pair of stretcher bars and for my online Utrecht purchase of canvas, gesso and paint to arrive.  Oh, this painting is 6'x5'.

I have decided to make this blog a place where I also post images and updates of my carpentry jobs so I can refer interested or potential clients to my project experience.

It is different

The development of this painting.  It is in a nuance stage though there may be some big changes yet.  At my "other job" I am restoring windows; making them pretty and operable.   Dunkin Donuts "Keeps America Running"
